The compact yet powerful S100 Smart charger is not only loaded with all the Smart tech from Spektrum but at a budget-friendly price point. With the ability to charge multiple battery types and several amperage ranges, this charger will surely have what you need!
Charger
The S100 Smart Charger w/USB-C GaN Power Supply Combo makes battery charging the easiest it has ever been. Its Auto Charge feature recognizes your Smart battery's parameters, such as chemistry type and charge rate, and automatically begins safe, correct charging when the charge lead is connected. Balancing Smart batteries is just as simple. The S100 charger will balance your Smart G2 packs through the same single IC connection used for charging. No separate, confusing balance leads are required. Powered by an included USB-C cable, the S100 is a convenient charging solution for those new to RC. This charger has Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology components that waste less power and produce less heat, resulting in higher efficiency operation
Spektrum Smart Tech Advantage
With Spektrum Smart tech you'll be able to have the peace of mind knowing you have some of the most advanced items on the market today. From easy 1 step charging to auto discharging of batteries, Smart tech helps you monitor your battery health and get the most performance out of every charge. Couple your batteries and charger together with the Smart ESC's and remotes for the ultimate performance system, or any stock or upgraded vehicle.
*Tech Note: When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in overheated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for the first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell). Do not use a battery that has too low a voltage. Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at temperatures above 35°C or in a closed car. The high-temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging, or racing, do not charge it until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging.
