Chassis Design & Construction

The RMX 4 S Pro's chassis is built around a Torsion-Type Dual Vertical Deck Layout, delivering exceptional rigidity and controlled flexibility for precise handling. The glass fiber reinforced nylon components ensure lightweight strength without sacrificing durability. Adjustable wheelbase options include 257, 266, and 275-millimeters, making it compatible with a wide range of body shells. The floating servo mount design eliminates interference between servo movement and chassis flex, while a lightweight quick-release battery mount supports both standard and low-profile shorty LiPos, allowing for fast swaps and optimal weight placement. Together, these innovations make the chassis both practical and performance-oriented.

Drivetrain & Power Delivery

At the heart of the RMX 4 S Pro is an Anti-Torque 4-Gear Transmission, designed for smooth, consistent torque delivery and effortless drift initiation. This setup can be converted to a three-gear configuration for drivers who prefer a torque-positive layout. The gear differential is included as standard, providing a balanced blend of traction and slip for controllable, progressive power transfer. The triple-level adjustable motor position allows fine-tuning of the car's center of gravity, complemented by an ESC mount that supports both high and low center-of-gravity (CG) setups. These features give the RMX 4 S Pro unmatched adaptability for any driving style.

Suspension & Steering Performance

MST equipped the RMX 4 S Pro with an advanced suspension system that enhances stability, precision, and responsiveness. The short rear suspension arms improve lateral weight transfer, optimizing drift control. Bullhorn-style shock towers allow for a wide range of adjustable shock angles, while TR56 aluminum oil dampers and progressive DK short springs ensure consistent damping performance. The ATK V3 Knuckle Set offers zero trail and wide steering angles for aggressive drift entries, supported by a steering arm system with fine Ackermann adjustment and a built-in 3° caster angle to reduce steering pump.
