The Axial SCX30 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro 1/30 4WD RTR Scale Mini Crawler brings the officially licensed Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro to Axial's SCX30 sub-micro crawler platform. Built around a high-performance chassis with full-time four-wheel drive, this compact crawler is designed to handle everything from desktop obstacles and tight indoor terrain to outdoor rock and dirt trails. The officially licensed ABS hard body combines scale detail with chassis-mounted front and rear LEDs, while the T1 configuration adds a wider stance, larger tires, and a fender delete for a dedicated rock crawler appearance.
High-Performance Crawler Chassis
The SCX30 chassis incorporates features typically associated with competition-focused crawlers, including an angled skid plate that helps the truck slide over challenging obstacles rather than hang up on them. Ramped axle housings and high-clearance rear links further help prevent dragging, while the forward weight bias improves climbing stability on technical surfaces. The longer wheelbase provides additional composure around larger obstacles, and the factory-installed electronics are mounted low in the chassis to help optimize the center of gravity.
Officially Licensed Tacoma Body
The injection-molded ABS hard body is officially licensed by Toyota and provides detailed scale styling for the 1/30-scale Tacoma TRD Pro. Chassis-mounted front and rear LEDs add functional lighting to the body, while molded accessories provide additional scale detail. The clipless body mounting system allows the body to be removed without conventional body clips, providing fast access to the chassis for battery replacement and general maintenance.
Wheels & Tires
The T1 configuration uses officially licensed BFGoodrich Krawler tires mounted on officially licensed KMC Torx wheels, giving the crawler a wheel and tire combination specifically suited to its crawler-focused design. The soft compound tires feature factory-installed foam inserts and are designed to provide the traction needed for crawling across desktop obstacles as well as rock and dirt trails outdoors. The T1 also uses larger tires, a wider stance, and a fender delete, creating the stripped-down appearance associated with a dedicated trail rig.
