Clear Body

The Mazda RX-7 BN Sports features a sleek and aggressive design that blends performance and style together. Its body showcases a low, wide stance with pop-up and down headlights, giving it the aerodynamic and profile of classic drift car. The front end features low separated grille with a mean front spoiler. The side profile smooth and streamlined wheel arches and a subtle character line running the length of the car. At the rear, the RX-7 sports a retractable spoiler, sleek LED taillights, and dual oval exhaust outlets integrated into a sporty diffuser. This design combines elegance and sporty aesthetic with high performance!

History

The second-generation Mazda RX-7, known as the FC3S or simply FC, succeeded the first-generation model in 1986, introducing a larger and heavier design with styling influences from the Porsche 944 and Dodge Daytona. Despite its increased size, the FC was a significant step forward, featuring a revised 13B rotary engine that produced 146hp, electric power steering, and an optional adaptive strut-type independent suspension, which contributed to its more upscale and advanced engineering. This innovative approach earned the 1986 RX-7 the Import Car of the Year title from MotorTrend.
