Overview:

Our two-piece Front Bumper for the Traxxas Slash 2wd & Nitro Slash is simple, yet strong and effective. This design gives the Slash owner the option of full front-end protection with all three components installed. Alternately, they can remove the bumper and use the skid plate mount and skid plate as a light-weight alternative. Running the skid plate alone sheds 27 grams (almost a full ounce) from the front end of the truck. Once the race is over, simply reinstall the bumper and full bash protection is once again available!

Our Traxxas Slash 2wd Front Bumper design completely eliminates the stock chassis-to-bumper support ring. It also uses a thicker skid design to supply the cushioning resistance a basher-proof bumper needs. Even though our thicker, more stout front bumper and skid plate is significantly stronger and more beefy than stock, it still falls in at a weight that is slightly less than the stock front bumper*. So even if the racer wants to run a full RPM front bumper and skid plate, they won’t have to worry about adding unwanted weight. To help improve overall durability, our skid rail design is wider than stock, which perfectly matches the design of our front and rear Slash skid plates.

RPM front bumpers for the Traxxas Slash 4×4 are available in three color options. We’re so confident in the strength and durability of these new bumpers that they come with our unbeatable factory warranty protection.

Suggestions: RPM light canister sets (RPM #80982 & #80983) fully integrate with our new Slash 2wd front bumper and skid plate. Optional light canisters give the Slash 4×4 that awesome Desert Racing Truck look. They also open the 4×4 up to the addition of LED lights for nighttime fun!
