The Traxxas® Unlimited Desert Racer® (UDR) 6S RTR 4WD Race Truck with LED Lights and TQi 2.4GHz Radio is a top-tier, ready-to-run RC truck that combines extreme performance with realistic scale details. Powered by the Velineon® VXL-6s brushless system and a 2200kV motor, it achieves speeds exceeding 50 mph when equipped with dual 3S LiPo batteries. The truck features a Pro Scale® tube chassis, detailed interior, functional accessories and reinforced bumpers. Its suspension system includes long-travel aluminum GTR shocks and a solid rear axle with a 4-link setup, providing authentic off-road handling. The high-voltage LED lighting system includes dual front light bars, a curved roof bar, and a rear light bar with brake lights. The TQi™ radio system offers advanced features like Traxxas Stability Management® (TSM), real-time telemetry, and compatibility with the Traxxas Link (6511 - Sold Separately) for customizable lighting and settings.

VXL-6s System

The VXL-6s™ Waterproof Electronic Speed Control, paired with the Velineon® 2200Kv Brushless Motor, delivers high-performance power and durability. Designed for 6s LiPo compatibility, the ESC features an integrated cooling fan, machined heat sink, 3-LED status indicators, powered accessory ports, and 10-gauge silicone wiring for efficient power delivery and thermal management. It also supports real-time telemetry, enhancing control and diagnostics. The Velineon motor includes a 4-pole design, a robust five millimeter output shaft, and a finned can for improved heat dissipation, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions.

Pro-Scale™ Body

The Traxxas UDR boasts a large Pro Scale® body packed with highly detailed replica parts that elevate realism and durability. Its heavy-duty truck body mounts secure to a functional tube frame chassis modeled after full-size trophy trucks. The detailed interior features lifelike driver figures, while scale components like brake calipers, seventeen millimeter wheel hubs, dual working spare tires, a spare driveshaft, and accessories such as fire extinguishers, shock reservoirs, a jack, and tools enhance its authentic appearance. Realistic side plates complete the rugged, true-to-life design, making it a standout in both performance and visual appeal.

Suspension & Drivetrain

The UDR features a robust drivetrain and advanced suspension system engineered for scale realism and rugged off-road performance. Up front, it includes steel CV driveshafts with six millimeter stub axles, an oil-filled limited-slip differential, and a heavy-duty splined driveshaft. The rear uses solid steel straight axles with a locked steel spool and a fixed-length steel driveshaft for maximum durability. Its suspension system delivers authentic handling with a tough double-wishbone setup in front and a triangulated 4-link rear with composite trailing arms and steel upper links. Eight long-travel aluminum GTR shocks—four with adjustable collars—along with realistic sway bars and functional rear limit straps, provide finely tuned, realistic off-road dynamics.
